Restylane Lyft® is an injectable cosmetic dermal filler popular for lip augmentation, facial depressions, and facial scarring.
Perlane® is manufactured by Medicis the same manufacturer of Restylane, also offered by The Appearance Care Center. Restylane Lyft® is similar to Restylane® but contains a larger concentration of hyaluronic acid. This higher concentration of hyaluronic acid makes Restylane Lyft® a good option for treating larger folds, while Restylane® is better suited for smaller wrinkles or to maintain previous Restylane Lyft® injections.
Restylane Lyft® contains no animal products, and is produced from non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA) gel. There is no need for a skin test when using Restylane Lyft® filler because hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin and other tissue. As people age, the body’s natural supply of hyaluronic acids depletes, and Restylane Lyft® injections works to supplement it.
Restylane Lyft®can be used effectively to improve the contour of facial skin and to reduce wrinkles, folds, face scars, and other depressions. Restylane Lyft® filler treatment typically last from six months to a year, a much longer period than the typical results of most collagen injections typical effectiveness of three to six months.
